Green burials and green hay
Woodhouse Organic Farm adjoins the river Mole overlooking the beautiful Mole Valley. Former dairy farmers for over thirty years, Brian and Angela are now focussing on their Countryside Stewardship Higher Tier Scheme. Their mission is to provide a variety of vibrant habitats for farmland birds, butterflies and other insects by growing seed crops, nurturing hedgerows and restoring wildflower meadows.
They have recently planted an orchard of more than 250 trees with many local varieties of apple, plum, and cherry and also nut trees.
Green Hay can be purchased from them in July and August.

They also have a natural burial ground where you can purchase a Burial or an Ashes plot in a completely unspoilt natural environment. A native tree is planted for each burial.
